Operators on payroll or casual - which do I choose?

Choose how the crew are paid, so their cost is counted once.

Steps

  1. Casual - paid by the day outside payroll: the cost is accrued (Cr accrued expenses) and paid later.
  2. On payroll - employees: the payroll run already charged their pay to salaries; choosing payroll moves the hire's days out of salaries into the hire's cost of sales (5111).

Good to know

  • Each period is charged once per machine: Navigate refuses a period that overlaps one already charged.
