Spread a shared rental cost over assets

Steps

1. Go to Lease & rentals → Shared costs: rental costs without an asset or agreement code are listed.
2. Click Allocate, choose the basis - days on hire, operating hours / km, asset value, or equally - the usage period and the assets, then Allocate.

Good to know

• It posts a reclassification on the same account (Cr as posted, Dr each asset's code). Each cost is spread once.
