NavigateERP for African business

Who sees whose sales: everyone, a team or their own

The dashboards, Salespersons, Sales targets, the pipeline and the sales report follow each person's data access.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Access matrix > Data access, choose a role (or one person) and set Records.
  2. All (the default): the whole business's sales - owners, administrators, managers and finance.
  3. Own team's records: their own sales and those of everyone who reports to them, directly or further down - set the reporting line in People, on each employee (Manager).
  4. Own records: only their own sales.
  5. A sale is someone's when they are its salesperson or they created it. Link each salesperson to their login in Sales > Salespersons so their invoices count.

Good to know

  • The dashboard says whose figures it shows ("Showing your team's salesโ€ฆ"). A team or personal view shows their target, their leaderboard, their customers owing, orders, quotes and pipeline - never the business's cash, payables or expenses.
  • A manager with own team's records also sees their people's visits, leads (and the unassigned ones, to hand out) and van sales.
  • A branch limit (Data access > Branch) applies on top. The owner always sees everything.
