Returning unsold stock - or carrying it forward

Received only when the warehouse verifies it.

Steps

  1. After the count: Return the counted stock sends the good units back to the main warehouse and the damaged ones to quarantine.
  2. The warehouse opens the return, checks the quantities and condition, corrects them if needed, and clicks Verify and receive. Only then is the stock in the main warehouse (damaged in the branch’s quarantine warehouse).
  3. The van does not come back tonight? A supervisor clicks Approve carrying it forward - the stock stays on the van for tomorrow.
  4. Returns at other times: on the van’s page, type the quantities under Return good / Damaged and Return to the warehouse.

Good to know

  • Anything the warehouse does not receive stays on the van and shows at the next count.
