Choose customers by what they bought (or not), when, how often, where and who they are.
Steps
Open a contact list (Customer experience โ Contacts) and click Find customers.
Bought: products, item groups or brands (any of them), in the last N months or between two dates. The period also sets each customerโs figures (invoices, spend).
Not bought: products, item groups or brands not bought in the last N months - e.g. *bought oil, no tyres in 6 months*. With none chosen: customers who bought nothing in that time (lapsed customers).
How often and how much: invoices at least / at most, spent at least / at most, last purchase after / before.
Where and who: the branch they bought at, customer group, town, delivery route (region), company or individual, and whether they can be reached by phone, email or either.
Click Find customers: every filter given must hold. Review the result - names, phones, emails, town, invoices, spend, last purchase and what they bought - untick anyone to leave out, and click Add the ticked customers.
Keep Keep these filters on the list ticked to make it a dynamic list: Refresh from its filters adds the customers who match later.
Good to know
On the list: a summary (people, with a phone, with an email, marketing consent, opted out), each personโs purchase details, Remove the ticked people, and Export (CSV - for those with the export right).
People already on the list are never added twice; a campaign over several lists sends one message per number or email and tells you how many duplicates it removed. Opted-out people are kept out, and promotions only go to those who agreed to marketing.
Sales counted are issued invoices and till sales - never drafts, cancelled invoices or ones waiting for approval. Walk-in customers are not included.
