Supplier portal: dealer prices

Set the prices agreed with each dealer; every other dealer sees the retail price.

Steps

  1. In the Supplier portal โ†’ Dealer prices, choose the dealer: every item with its retail price and the dealerโ€™s price.
  2. Type the dealerโ€™s price for the items with a special price and Save; clear one to put the item back to retail.
  3. In bulk: Download the price sheet, fill in dealer_price, and upload it back - a blank is retail; unknown SKUs are listed.
  4. Retail prices come with the catalogue: a retail price (or price / RRP) column in the stock sheet, or a price field in the stock feed - no change to the integration is needed.
  5. Dealer code: each dealerโ€™s unique code in your own system (SAP Business One: the Business Partner Code) - set on Dealers (see Unique dealer codes) or here on the dealerโ€™s prices. Prices from your system find the dealer by it.
  6. All dealers at once: download the sheet for all dealers (dealer_code, sku, dealer_price - the codes on its Dealers tab), add or change rows and upload it; a blank price is retail, rows left out are unchanged, unknown codes and SKUs are listed.
  7. From your system: when your stock API also has a special-prices endpoint (rows of customer code, item code and price), it is read every hour after the stock - each dealer in it gets exactly those prices.
  8. Platform key-supplier staff can do the same from Platform โ†’ Key suppliers โ†’ a supplier โ†’ Dealer prices.

Good to know

  • An account manager sets prices for their own dealers only.
  • Dealers see their price on the stock list and it fills in on their orders.
