Quoting a lead

Steps

1. On the lead, click Quote - a sales quotation opens with the lead's details.
2. When they accept, open Lead quotations and click Convert & go on - choose an existing customer or create one from the lead.
3. The quotation can then become an order or invoice.

Good to know

• A lead's quotation can't become an order until the lead is a customer.
• Quoting needs Sales - create (a quotation is a Sales document).
